Signs your lymphatic system is sluggish:

*Swollen lymph nodes *Water retention in body *Skin rashes, breakouts

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms,
it may be time to schedule a lymphatic session.

What Is Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)?

MLD is nothing like a deep tissue massage and is an actual treatment that uses soothing and relaxing strokes that barely move the skin, to help support your body’s natural drainage process. It uses very light pressure and long, rhythmic strokes to help move lymph fluid and redirect it to major lymph nodes, so your body can eliminate it through the proper channels. A trained therapist will use specific techniques, such as light stroking across lymph nodes, and each extremity, to re-stimulate the natural actions of your lymphatic system. MLD does not require much pressure to be effective and is beneficial for all ages.

Our lymphatic system is designed to move fluids through our body, using movement and muscle contraction. Our lymph fluid should quietly be moving through our bodies on its own, but sometimes we develop areas of stagnation due to not moving for long periods of time, such as with surgeries, injuries, or illness. You may notice swelling, excess fluid build-up and/or discomfort.
